West Rouge SC 2002 Boys CSL U15 Cup

West Rouge SC 2002 Boys claim the CSL U15 Cup championship!

After losing out in last year’s Cup finals, the team competed over the weekend in Port Perry to claim the U15 championship. The team played flawless defensively, not allowing a goal in 180 minutes of soccer. We defeated Vaughan 2-0 on Saturday, with goals from Azim Taher and Isaac Sooklal. The finals saw the boys take a 1 – 0 lead in the 2nd half on a goal by Riley Oliver, only to surrender the lead on a last-minute goal in added time. We went straight to penalties and goals from Alex Dognon, Isaac Sooklal, Samshad Rahman and Azim Taher secured the 4-3 win. Our goalkeeper Niko Zagar was tremendous, stopping two penalties. It was a great way to end the season. A special thanks to the parents for all of their support during our season.
